The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. The bed was comfortable and the linens were of good quality. the breakfast options were varied and the coffee was excellent.
The room could have been cleaner as there was dust on some surfaces and a musty smell upon arrival. The furnishings in the room were old and worn, and the bathroom finishings were of low quality.

The staff provided excellent service and catered to our diverse needs. We were impressed with the delicious vegetarian meals and the support for our technology requirements. the property had beautiful walking trails with water views and abundant wildlife. We also loved the large vegetable garden that supplied fresh produce for our meals.
The chairs in the room could have been more comfortable, especially for watching TV. the hostess/owner could have been warmer and friendlier towards us.

We stayed at this cozy lodge during the Christmas season and had a delightful experience. the beautiful property offered a serene and peaceful setting, perfect for a relaxing holiday getaway. We loved the opportunity to take walks around the property and admire the stunning views of the surrounding nature. the included hot breakfast was a great perk, providing us with a delicious and hearty start to our day. we thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere and the warm hospitality of the staff.
The room we stayed in initially felt a bit stuffy and warm upon arrival, but luckily, we were able to solve this issue by using the available fan throughout the night. the TV only had internet TV access, which limited our entertainment options.

The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and serene surroundings. the room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, providing a good night's sleep. the breakfast served was delicious and there was a helpful host who provided information about the local area.
Check-in process was inconvenient as we had to call for someone to let us in. the room furnishings were outdated and mismatched.

As a group of friends, we loved the secluded location in the middle of a kiwi orchard, with stunning views over Ladysmith bay. Peggy, the owner, and her staff were incredibly friendly and always available to help with any questions we had. the breakfast spread was beyond amazing, with homemade breads, preserves, and locally sourced sausages. We couldn't have asked for more!

The exterior of the building is charming and the property offers pleasant walks through the kiwis and down to the water. We stayed in Room 21, an executive suite, which was spacious and had a cozy gas fireplace. The room had three large windows, two of which opened, and a door leading to a private deck with a delightful view. The bed was comfortable, the night was quiet, and the linens and towels were of good quality. The self-serving coffee and tea options available 24/7 were a great touch, and we loved the convenience of having a microwave and fridge right outside our room. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my lactose intolerant children by preparing a special breakfast plate just for them. The kiwi jam served during breakfast was also a pleasant surprise. we had a fantastic stay and enjoyed the beauty of the site.
I strongly recommend this hotel.
